GRB Links

GCN Homepage

The GCN system, created by Scott Barthelmy, is the source for most of the information stored in the GRBlog database. An archive of all the GCN circulars can be found here.

Jochen Greiner's Page

Provides a table listing each GRB and its position, X-ray/radio/optical afterglow detections and redshifts. The table links to a page for each burst with all the relevent GCNs listed in-line with finding charts and plots.

The Astronomer's Telegram

Contains observation reports for some of the earliest GRB afterglows (1997-98).

IAU Circulars

Prior to the acceptance of the GCN circulars, the IAUCs were the default repository for GRB observation reports (1996 to about 1999). In rare cases they are still used (cf. 030329).
